Jamie is the founder and Principal of Salt Realty Advisors, a boutique consultancy partnering with retailers, developers, and other industry businesses on strategic planning, project design, analytics, financial analysis, project management, site selection, and transaction execution.  Salt’s clients come from a broad cross-section of the industry including retail, fitness, analytics, mixed-use development, and pop-up retail.

Over the course of his 20+ year career, Jamie has directed literally thousands of real estate transactions totaling many millions of square feet of space.  Prior to founding Salt, Jamie led multiple dynamic growth programs for iconic, best-in-class retailers including Head of Real Estate for L.L. Bean, Chief Development Officer for CorePower Yoga, and Head of Real Estate for Cabela’s.  Additionally, Jamie has guided significant land development projects totaling thousands of acres including leading Redstone Development as Principal and Chief Development Officer.  

Jamie holds an MBA from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University and a BS in Political Science from the University of Utah.  Jamie is on the Board of Advisors for thought-leading companies such as MTN Retail Advisors and LocateAI.  Jamie is based in Portland, ME where he and his family love to engage in all varieties of outdoor adventure.

Niemann Foods, Inc

Rich Niemann, Jr. is President and Chief Executive Officer of Niemann Foods, Inc., a family/associate owned retail business that operates 102 retail stores in four states.  Store banners include Harvest Market, ValuCheck and County Market Supermarkets, Save-a-Lot Grocery Stores, ACE Hardware Stores, Pet Supplies Plus Stores, and Haymakers Convenience Stores.


Rich joined the Company in 1977, following his graduation from the University of Illinois with a degree in Marketing/Business Administration.  He became General Manager in 1980, was appointed Chief Operating Officer and President in 1990 and was then promoted in 2005 to his current position of C.E.O.


He is Immediate Past Chairman of the National Grocers Association, based in Washington, and Chairman of Illinois Food Retailers Association. He has, and currently serves on, numerous boards, including the Niemann Foods Foundation.  Rich recently completed 2 years of service on the North American Coca Cola Research Council…dedicated to research to aid retailers in the U.S.


He and his wife, Susie, have five grown children, and eleven grandchildren. Along with his sons, he owns and works a cattle ranch in northeast Missouri where they raise Angus beef.  Niemann Ranch Beef is now available in select N.F.I. stores.

Libby Lassiter joined Bayer Properties as executive vice president of leasing and development in 2005, returning to the south to join the executive team of the company. Her career began in Atlanta, Georgia pursuing real estate opportunities in the Eastern U.S., including stints in Jacksonville, Philadelphia and Chicago, serving in key leadership roles with notable firms such as the Vantage Companies, Carter & Associates, The Rubin Organization and General Growth Properties. With 30 years of leasing, development and asset management experience, she recently took the helm as co-president of Bayer Properties. She is active in the Birmingham community serving as an advisor to the leadership team of Common Thread, a Birmingham-based Christian ministry where she also enjoys mentoring and supporting young adults. Libby resides in Birmingham with her husband of 33 years, David Ball, and daughter Alex.

DSR Marketing Systems, Inc

Dr. David Rogers is the President of DSR Marketing Systems, Inc. - a specialist retail research consulting firm. He was formerly Head of Site Potential for Sainsbury, the British supermarket chain, and is the Assistant Director of the annual Retail Location Analysis Conference at Oxford University's Business School.


Dr. Rogers is co-editor of Store Location and Store Assessment Research, a text-book published by John Wiley and a regular columnist for retail trade magazines in Canada, the USA and UK.  Dr. Rogers has consulted with retail, restaurant, and shopping center clients in Australia, Canada, France, Iceland, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the U.S.A.

Sam has helped many companies plan and implement effective research programs during his two decades in Retail Real Estate.  This experience combined with his commitment to customer service helps him build SiteSeer's client relationships and guide those clients toward success.  Prior to joining ROIC analytics (SiteSeer's parent company) in 2010, Sam ran the research department at Phillips Edison and Company.  He also worked in operations for Albertsons before moving into corporate roles and becoming a senior analyst for the company.  Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in business from Boise State University and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Colorado.  He is currently based in Denver, Colorado.

Jim Puffer is the founder and owner of Gravitec Development, Inc.  He has been involved in supermarket research for nearly 40 years and has been the author of a variety of professional papers, as well as a guest speaker at a number of professional groups.  He organized and built the "Store Location Conference", which is currently "GRAVISITE Site Selection Technology Conference".  His education includes a B.A. in Psychology, and his graduate studies focused on Applied Mathematics, with particular interest in the convergence of non-linear matrices.

David Beitz is Partner and Co-Founder of Planned Grocery. Beitz attended the University of South Carolina where he received the Bachelor’s Degree of Science from the College of Science and Mathematics as well as a cognate in Geography from the Geography department. He spent 5 years applying GIS at Wilbur Smith Associates, one the largest transportation planning firms at the time. From there he joined Edens, a private shopping center REIT, and focused on using GIS for retail real estate development and marketing. During his 14 years at Edens, the GIS team was awarded the Special Achievement Award in GIS from Esri twice. Today, Beitz focuses on the day to day operations of Planned Grocery as well as product and business development. He lives in Columbia, SC with his wife Tiffany and 2 boys Zachary (15) and Nicholas (13).

Lorie is Vice President of Consulting and Analytics at Trade Area Systems, a retail real estate software and analytics company based in Providence, RI. TAS Analytics supports clients in forecast modeling, lifestyle segmentation analysis, market optimization, strategic portfolio management, and other spatial analytics projects.  Prior to TAS, Lorie worked for Family Dollar for 13 years where she led teams responsible for real estate analytics, portfolio management, technology and business process, and strategic planning. Lorie received her Master’s degree in Geography, Concentration in Location Analysis, from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Lorie currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband and two children.
